  • Do you have a recent backup of your site? If so delete everything in your site, reinstall WordPress and restore the site from backup.

If you have your database updated then you can try using the following steps.

    1. Backup all the current data of your site you have for now.
    2. Remove all the files from your wordpress folder and proceed for a fresh installation.
    3. Once done, before changing your wordpress database details make sure that your wordpress is upgraded to new version. (Same version of a update which was failed)
    4. Once done, backup your current database and create a new database for your site, restore a your old database and check for your site.
