• Hi,

    I recently updated a shop and some of the plugins and it looks like there is VAT added to the shipping costs in the PDF output. I set the WooCommerce settings to not include VAT on the shipping costs and the Total on the Invoices is fine.

    Since it is a german shop there are two VAT rates of 7% and 19% in the shop and it looks like the Amount added to the shipping costs mirrors the ratio of the VAT distribution on the ordered products.

    If the customer only buys 19% products there will be 19% added to the shipping costs. If the order contains both rates both will be added to the costs.

    Any idea how to fix this?

    Hello Andreas,
    The plugin simply takes all the VAT data from WooCommerce, so unfortunately this is not something that I can help you with. I would recommend to check your VAT and Shipment settings. I know that the vat distribution that you describe is actually one of the settings!

    @dantz,
    Were you able to find the WooCommerce settings to fix this? Let me know if you still have any issues with the PDF plugin! Note that the WooCommerce settings will not alter existing orders, only new orders.

    Hi there,
    I have the same problem. I need to display the Shipping on the invoice without VAT but the actual VAT should be included in the total VAT again.

    Would be good if someone knows how to do this.
    Thanks.

    Hello Karolin,
    I think what you need are two separate things:
    If you want to calculate the taxes from the shipping costs based on the items in the order, you have to configure this in WooCommerce:
    WooCommerce > Settings > Tax, then Shipping Tax Class: Shipping tax class based on cart items

    The other thing, displaying the shipping excluding tax, is something that is a feature of the Premium templates.

    Hope that helps!
