problem with website

My church has a website using wordpress. We had the site working well, but someone made some changes to it at some point. I went in to make a change to the file that controls the side bar, and now the site is broken.

I’m trying to figure out why we no longer have the code for the sidebars and the footer. Which file(s) do I need to change to make sure that those include are working correctly.
