Problem with Widgets in Autofocus Theme

    I am trying to install a widget to show up in my “sidebar” which is actually at the bottom of this template, however when I do so, it does not show up. There are special instructions from the writer that says:

    The sidebar for this theme is included as a template for use on an ‘Archives’ page. To activate the sidebar, create a page called ‘Archives’ for example and select the Archives Page Template. This template pulls in the 2 sidebars that sit right on top of each other.

    I have created an archives page and selected the archives template, however this still does not work and I end up with an archives page at the top of my home page…still no category widgets….there is another post on this site that addresses this issue, and installing an “archives” page seemed to work for everyone, however I still can’t get it going. That page is now closed.

    Any suggestions?
