    Hello,

I have a product attribute “Color” with 91 values. After the update to Woocommerce 7.5.1, only the first 50 values are offered as options in the drop-down select list on the product edit page. (I work with the classic editor.) The remaining values are missing.

The editor basically recognizes all values: Typing the characters “whis” offers the option “whisky” (value #91). Clicking “Select All” also inserts all 91 values. Only the drop-down list is limited to the first 50 options.

Can you please help me to overcome this limitation. Or should I better revert Woocommerce to an older version.

    Thank you

  • Hi,

I understand the product has more than 100 variations, and it was working properly, but after the last update it is not working as expected.

There is a plugin that is able to manage this, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wc-variations-ajax/, but please note this plugin has not been tested with the last 3 versions of WooCommerce, please back up your site before making any critical change, or test it first using a staging site (You can create one staging site using WP Staging).

You can check if the alternatives provided in this forum thread work for you, please check here.

Let us know how that goes for you.

    Hi,

it’s not about product variations! It’s about “Eigenschaften” (German), “properties” or “attributes”. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a simple product or a variation: If I create a new product or edit an existing product, I can assign it an “Eigenschaft” (German), a “property” or an “attribute” (e,g. Color, Size, Weight, …)

The “Color” property contains over 90 pre-assigned values. Previously, you could use the drop-down menu to choose from all these available values. Now only the first 50 values appear in the dropdown menu. The remaining 40+ values are simply missing. I can assign “blue” because it is first in the chosen alphabetical order. “Yellow” is no longer an option because it only comes after the first 50 <option> tags.

Only exactly 50 <option> tags are displayed. The rest is absent from the choices offered.

    Hello @zemekis148,

I was able to replicate the issue, here’s a screencast for reference with 60 terms: https://d.pr/v/jjQLtw

At the time being, you can change the sorting for the attribute you’re searching for to be at the top of the list from the attributes settings.

I also reported the problem here, I suggest you subscribe to the thread for more updates.

    Cheers!

Since nothing can be added here, I’m going to mark this as resolved – you can follow the GitHub link for more updates.

This is still an issue and has not been resolved. I am experiencing the same on our website.
