Problem With wordpress site after theme upload

  • Hi,

    I had wordpress installed by a friend and I have been making changes to our sites. I have made theme changes correctly to https://www.chiropractic-mctimoney.co.uk/ and wanted to do similar changes to https://www.anandaclinic.co.uk/

    I went to install the theme and now the site will not let me login properly it just takes me to a blank webpage, even if I go onto the homepage I have all the edit options in the toolbar running along the top but once I select one of the options I get the blank screen again.

    Any ideas?

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
