Problem with wp-commentsrss2.php

  • Hi everyone,
    I’ve been trying to see if I can get the solution through this forum since yesterday but I haven’t found an answer about this.
    All the RSS’s in my site work great, including the different categories RSS, but the comments RSS (wp-commentsrss2.php) is not working. I was checking the different RSS’s from my site with an agregator/reader and the comments RSS is the only one not working.
    I’m using the WordPress 1.0.1 just in case this is needed to correct this problem.
    Any help is welcome, thanks in advance.

  • I am having a problem with comments that might be a result of the same problem that is already being expressed here. So I too will be interested in seeing solutions to this.

    franpereiro: please provide a URL for your website/feed, so we can see what’s wrong. Just telling us “there’s a problem” isn’t enough information. ??
    danithew: your feed has a blank line before <?xml, that’s why it’s broken. Check every WordPress file for a blank line after the final ?>, and remove the guilty blank line.

    I have been going through and making that correction. Oddly, on the edit-comments.php file I am finding that when I delete that “empty line” and save, and then go back into the edit feature, the “empty line” has been re-added. Nothing I am doing seems to be fixing that problem. Hopefully we’re close to a solution though. Thanks for the info I needed.

    Hi michel v, thanks for answering.
    When I started my RSS reader today it showed me the feed from the comments on my blog, so I guess everything is fine now.
    The problem was that I wasn’t getting the RSS feed from the comments on my site, sorry for not pointing that out in my previous post here.
    It took about 24 hours but I think it’s ok now. By the way, the URL of my site is:
