problem with wp email capture installation

for some reason the britt theme grabs a combination of the page titles for the sign up and confirmation pages created for wp email capture —and creates a large header above every page that says:

“thanks, please take a moment to confirm your email!”

there was no additional step i enacted to create this, which i could now reverse…. it seems to have been an automatic mistake.

the new page redirect for people who join the email list is titled “welcome, please take a moment to confirm your email”

the new page redirect after people confirm their email is titled: “thanks!”

somehow britt has combine the two into the message:

“thanks, please take a moment to confirm your email!”

even if i deactivate the wp email capture plugin/widget, the message remains…

how do i get rid of this?

i don’t want all my visitors to have this random message above every page and blog post!
