    Hello,

We hace found out that Yoast SEO plugin is blocking Woocommerce notices on some pages (My account and product detail page, for example), but when we deactivate the plugin notices work fine in all pages. Any idea of how to solve this?

The test version of our website is https://devwordpress.itop.es/

If you need a temporary user, tell us.

    Thanks.

    Hi @frankariza

We aren’t able to ask for log-in credentials to your website as it goes against the rules in the forum guidelines.

When you say that the Yoast SEO plugin is blocking some WooCommerce notices such as the account and product detail page, could you provide us with a screenshot (using a site such as snipboard.io to upload a link here) and more information on exactly what notice or notification doesn’t appear when the plugin is activated?

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

Could you test this with a default WP theme (e.g. TwentyTwenty) and only the latest versions of Yoast SEO and WooCommerce and see if you can replicate the issue?

    Hi,

We have tried to replicate the issue with only Yoast SEO and Woocommerce active, with the Twenty Twenty-Two theme, but the Woocommerce notices actually worked fine. After activating one by one every plugin, we found out that the conflict happens when Yoast SEO and Elementor/Elementor Pro are activated at the same time (which is weird, since I’m convinced that we have them both activated at some point and there wasn’t any problem with the notices, but I may be wrong on that).

Is there any way to solve this issue without having to deactivate one of both plugins? The entire site is built with Elementor, so we can’t do without it, but also Yoast SEO has been really helpful.

    Hi,

Just to clarify, so this issue occurs with a default WP theme, Yoast SEO, Elementor, and WooCommerce? Could you provide us with a screenshot and more more details on steps (such as the specific notices or messages that are appearing) so we can try and recreate this on our end?

    Hello,

Exactly, it happens with the default WP theme and these three plugins activated. To be more specific, we are missing the notices related to the login page, such as the ones related to fields left empty or wrong inputs. There are more notices missing, but those aren’t as important to us. There is a link to a video showing what happens when we have Elementor/Elementor Pro and Yoast SEA activated and what happens if we deactivate Elementor/Elementor Pro (Note that if we deactivate Yoast SEO instead of Elementor, Woocommerce’s notices also work just fine). https://www.loom.com/share/27275410b75b43b19525e5bf048680c3

Also might be worth noting that the “Mi account/Mi cuenta” page (the one that has the login) have been made using Elementor Pro, but not sure if this can be part of the problem (there are other pages made with Elementor Pro with do show Woocommerce’s notices, so maybe it is not).

Let us know if you need additional information or try anything.

    Hi,

Thanks for providing that video that highlighted that the notices pertaining to the login/account page weren’t appearing and that this is reproducible with a default WP theme and just Yoast SEO, Elementor, and WooCommerce as the plugins enabled.

We recommend that you create a bug report by following the steps here so our developers can take a further look (please make sure that you also include the steps to reproduce) – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/

    Thank you!
