    Hello,

After updating the plugin YOAST version 5.1, I want to update a page and I click on the “update” button I have a 500 error and a blank page. As soon as I wish to add or modify the content, it does not take my changes into account. These errors disappear when I disable the plugin

    Is anyone a solution?

    cordially

  • Hi,

We are not sure why those Server 500 errors are appearing. We ask for a conflict check as sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict which then results in that behavior. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen ( https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentyseventeen/ ).

If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or theme.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts.

    Hello,
thank you for your reply. It’s a conflict between the plugin and my theme: Flatsome. So I sent a bug report to the developers of the theme, hoping that the problem is resolved soon.
