Hello everyone, how are you today?

This CSS editing is just so much fun but in the middle of all the “fun stuff” I realized that I had done something ‘wrong’ with my website along the way and I really don’t know what codes I should edit to ‘restore’ it into its original look…

I’m using the “scrappy theme” and this is my website address: https://jonssonsstockdogs.com/cutting/

My problem is that I’ve somehow manage to make my website possible to scroll horizontally and not ONLY vertically as I WANT it to be (click on my website address to see the problem)?! I have no idea in which codes I’ve been working but I would be REALLY thankful if someone might care to help me solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance, Silja

  • Horizontal scrolling appears when the browser window is narrower than the 900px fixed width (in the #wrapper CSS line 861 of style.css) – which is how it should work.

Well, the browser window is a great deal wider than the 900px (I believe mine’s on 1450px wide)… So, no one knows how to restore it?

That problem is not visible in Firefox on a Mac — what browser are you using?

I’m sorry but it is beyond the scope of these forums to deal with basic CSS issues. Try a dedicated CSS resource such as https://www.css-discuss.org/ instead. In the meantime, using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.
