    Dear friends,
I’ve been trying to solve the current problem for days so I’m trying to ask someone in here.
I want to change my site from example.com to https://www.example.com because in the google search it is showed as https://www.example.com so I can’t open it up.
I have a wordpress blog hosted to EasyWEB and a EasyDNS Domain. The Host used by them is a Linux one.
When I try to change the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL)via General Setting I get the error This webpage is not available.
So I tried to access the wp_options on phpMyAdmin but both siteurl and hme are setted correclty. The site only works when I set them as example.com.
I’ve also tried to modify the wp_config file as explained in this guide https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL .
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
    Have a good one ??

  • Hello squizzo,

In your domain’s DNS have you added any “CNAME” or “A” records for “www”? If not I would recommend adding it. In case you don’t know how to, do share your website address here so someone can do a DNS test using tools such as https://dnscheck.pingdom.com/

    Hello Harish,
I didn’t add the CNAME but only the A. So as you suggested I added the CNAME and it’s working properly. So problem solved ?? thank you so much have a good day mate
