    Hello,
After updating to version 5, images are no longer automatically optimized. Also, if png is converted to jpg, then the links in the article are not updated and broken links appear.

    Thank you, @asderbase.

Would you mind sharing with us a screen recording where we can see how the images don’t get automatically optimized? From our side, everything works well.

    Thank you.

Hello @asderbase and thanks for your report,

The issue with images not being optimized automatically should have been fixed in version 5.0.6 and we’re not aware of any issues with the PNG 2 JPG conversion in the latest version.

I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved and please reply back if you still encounter any issues after updating to the latest available version of our plugin (currently 5.0.9).

    Thank you!

    Hello @petredobrescu,

Updated the plugin to version 5.0.9.

    Automatic conversion is now working.

But when converting png to jpg, the format in the post does not change and broken links appear.

    Hi @asderbase,

Could you please send us your site information (Tools > Site Health > Info)? Also,

    • How exactly did you insert that image that can’t be replaced on your page? Are you using a page builder, block, etc.?
    • Does the issue happen with all images?
    • Can we see the issue by ourselves? Can you tell us the page where we can check this?

    Thank you,
