    Hi there,

After updating woocommerce to the latest version i have a big problem:
when you go to a single product (any product) and then click on any category in the sidebar it loads this category but ALL widgets disappear from the sidebar and it displays not only the navigation/breadcrumbs of the category but also the navigation/breadcrumbs from the single product that was there when you clicked a category (the product itself is not displayed anymore).

Also this is only the case on laptop/desktop not on a phone..

    Looking forward for a solution!

PS> i tried swiching off other plugins to see if there is any conflict but i cant find it, also everything worked before updating.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @elaxxl,

I know you said you already tried disabling plugins, but I’m seeing a fatal console error related to the Fast Woo Widgets plugin.

Can you try disabling that again to ensure the issue isn’t being caused by that plugin?

It looks like the line of code in question was added by the plugin (Fast Woo Widgets) developers for a specific theme, which seems to not be playing well with what your site is currently running.

Let us know if you still have issues, though!

    Thank you,
    Joey

    Hi there,

It seems indeed that it has to do with this widget: fast layered category, i wrote the plugin author as well since it is a paid plugin.
But besides that, doesnt it seem strange that it worked before updating?

    Thank you,

    Nick

Great to hear you found the issue!

This is extremely common, to be honest. If a plugin doesn’t keep up with updates to WooCommerce core, code conflicts can pop up just like this.

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved, but feel free to start a new one if you have any other questions.

    Best,

    Ross
