    After upgrade of Ocean Extra plugin to version 2.4.0 we experienced the following problems in our site installation and Customizer.

    1. The width of the site title strip increased . We are not able to adjust it in customizer
    2. The color of the site title text is gray (previously gold), and it is not therefore visible any more. Again we can not adjust the text color in customizer
    3. The color of the text of the links is gray (previously gold) and it is therefor not good visible. No possibitlity of adjustment in cutormizer

    After update

    Before update

    Furthermore we miss the “General Option” menu in Customizer

    After update

    Before update

    In General Options – General Styling there was a possibility to adjust different colors of text etc. now it is not possible and therefore we cannot tak corrective measure to make the text visible.

    Please can you advise us how to proceed?

    Thank you

    Hello Everyone,
    @irenamery
    @iwaaleksey2011

    We appreciate your patience.

    We’ve just released new versions that should resolve the issue you mentioned. Please update the OceanWP theme to version 4.0.1 and the Ocean Extra plugin to version 2.4.1.

    @iwaaleksey2011 — Ocean Extra plugin is a core plugin for OceanWP theme. This issue occurs if you are not using Ocean Extra or are still using an old version please update both Ocean Extra and OceanWP theme to the latest versions. The page title issue already has been fixed. However regarding the menu links on the sidebar, we haven’t made any changes to the widgets, and it seems you are using a widget so it is possible that this is caused by a caching plugin. Kindly share a live URL related to the issue so I can check it on your website, and in the meantime, please clear all levels of cache and cookies to see any changes on your website.

    As always, before updating your live site, we recommend testing any updates on your staging website first. You might find this article helpful before proceeding: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/875-how-to-safely-update-wordpress-website.

    Thank you for your support, patience and feedback.
    It has helped us catch issues fast and address them in a timely manner.

    Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
    Warm Regards
