    Hey all,

    after upgrading i have two problems:

    1) When uploading files bigger than about 4,5 MB i got this error message;
    An unexpected error occured. This is most likely due to a server misconfiguration. Check your PHP error log or ask your hosting provider for assistance.

    2) When deleting files i get this error message: Warning: Cannot set memory_limit above master value of 128M (tried to set unlimited) in /plugins/nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.photocrati_cache.php on line 90

    I checkes permalink structure, server settings are fine and also uploads through wordpress are possible up to >30MB, so it seems to be a Next Gen issue!?

    Thankx

    another one ?? i dont think its any server issue…

    just figured out that not all photos with a larger file-size are affected. i could not figure out whats the difference (just resolution and some meta data) – anyway hope this helps fixing this bug!

    also, ths pictures are uploaded but the thumb is broken and netgen doesnt realize they are there (when deleting message occurs: “not found”)

    thx

    I too have an issue with Next Gen gallery Version 2.0.66.37 and WP 4.1. I found that with Next Gen activated I just get a white blank page with absolutely no content. If deactivated, pages get displayed.

    I then discovered that when BOTH Next Gen and JQuery Updater Version 2.1.3 are activated I get blank screens. IF EITHER are deactivated then pages get displayed. So there appears to be an issue with WP 4.1, Next Gen 2.0.66.37 and JQuery Updater Version 2.1.3

    @fredel – If the issue is not consistent with all images of larger sizes then I am not certain what the problem would be. What are you seeing under Gallery > Overview for Server Settings?

    @youpain & @jmccann – Please start your own topics (see https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post)

    Thanks!

    PS: When i am uploading several images and theres a problem with one file, then nextgen automatically generates several albums – all with the same name, they include one or more pictures where the upload worked.

    hey again,

    just figured out that the 2) Problem was caused by “W3 Total Cache” Plugin.
    if deactivated, everthing works out. since i think there are many users out there maybe this problem can be fixed?

    thx so much

    @fredel – Thanks for the update. W3 Total Cache will work (in default settings) without issues on almost all sites … outside of the defaults will require specific attention to each site and in many cases is also unique in some ways.

    Also to note, the following setting:

    PHP Allow URL fopen : Aus

    This should be set to “On” or “Yes”

    thanks cais, so the problem must be at w3c? lets see if they update their plugin these days… if not: bad ?? will go for premium next gen soon, thanks!

    @fredel – sounds like a plan.

    Best of luck!
