• Hello,

    i’m using the newest version 13.2.4 and get the error message

    Here is an error associated with Connecting WordPress Rest API
    Please Flushing rewrite rules or activate WordPress REST API for performance WP-Statistics Plugin Cache / Go Settings->Permalinks

    Access to Rest API was/is disabled by an utility plugin and it seems, that this problem is the same like in the past (see here).

    Kindly regards

    Filout

  • I’m having the same issue. Came here to see if there were others. Hopefully, there’s a fix soon.

    Hi all,

    I hope you’re doing well.

    You should add the WP-Statistics endpoint to your cache plugin white list:
    /wp-json/wp-statistics/v2/

    Hi @reventon94,

    many thanks for your answer.
    The access to Rest API is blocked by the plugin WP Cerber. Here the access to Rest API is allowed to logged in users.
    As cache plugin is used WP Fastest Cache.

    Please could you tell me how to fix this issue with this plugin(s)?

    Thanks in advance and greetings

    Filout

    @reventon94
    I don’t have a cache plugin installed. It was working fine before 13.2.4 update. Please advise on how to fix this.

    I am a beginner at WP.

    I continuously get this message:

    Here is an error associated with Connecting WordPress Rest API
    Please Flushing rewrite rules or activate WordPress REST API for performance WP-Statistics Plugin Cache / Go Settings->Permalinks

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi,

    After receiving no understandable answer to this problem, I have simply deleted this plugin from all my sites and now I no longer have that message showing up on every page WB-admin pages.
    I now just use the JETPACK stats, but if WP STATISTICS ever makes an UPDATE excluding this problem, I would love to add it again.

    @adairk: Me too!

    Same here – support is rubbish so deleted the plugin.

    @reventon94 pointed to the solution: with the W3 Total Cache plugin active, the WP Statistics plugin generates an error about the REST API. Adding /wp-json* to the pages that shouldn’t be cached, solves the problem on my site
