    Hi,
I’m trying to help my wife set up an online store selling her art.
Most pieces can be sold in the UK and the rest of the world. She sells some large piece which we want customers in the UK only to be able purchase via the online store (as they are big and fragile, shipping costs vary a lot so we need to get quote each time for overseas purchases. Clients will need to contact her directly).

I’ve installed the Country Based Restrictions for WooCommerce plugin. The option to block countries appears in the product box. Testing it doesn’t seem to work.

I’ve tried testing the plugin by blocking the piece ‘Shattered’ in the US only but if I set my address to being in the US in her store I can still select it and proceed to check out.

The www.ads-software.com download page states: “Make sure you have set up “shipping countries” in WooCommerce general settings.” I can see Shipping Zones (which I’ve set up – UK+ Locations not covered by your other zones), Shipping options and shipping classes (which I am using to set flat rates for the Uk and a separate flat rate for rest of the world).
    Any help welcome!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, you need to set the restricted products visibility options in the country based restrictions settings and you can enable the debug mode to test the plugin. Then, you can go into every individual product and set the country rules for that product, for using bulk category, shopping classes restrictions, you will need the pro version.
