• Hello world

I’m a *very* amateur webdev and only recently moved to Linux hosting from Windows…paths confuse me a bit! Anyway I’ve been able to install wordpress no problem in a sub-directory but don’t seem able to put it at the root…seems all links point to /wordpress instead of the root.

My server’s a bit of a mess at the moment as I’ve uploaded multiple times and moved files etc…https://fernsfarm.com/wordpress is fine but I’ve also installed at https://fernsfarm.com/ where all links point to https://fernsfarm.com/wordpress (in fact, only picking up style-sheets and assets from there.)

    Anyone help?

    Thanks

S’ok – problem was cos I’d re-installed with same database! I’ve now created a new one…you must have checked when I deleted DB.

I see that you have all installed now I have video tutorials on my website that will show how manage admin panel click on my name.
