problems internationlaziating themes

Hi all,

I am using a WordPressMU installation at version 2.x

I am having some issues trying to internationalize a theme. After reading several tutorials I end up following this and doing the steps I get no translation for any phrase.

I have reformated the php files to include the “__()” and “_e” functions and included the line <?php load_theme_textdomain(‘default’); ?> to include a domain.

Later on I have created a .po and .mo file and it seems that it recognises the phrases I want to translate.

Finally I have changed the following line in wp-config.php file to enable spanish translation.
“define (‘WPLANG’, ‘es_ES’);”

However, it seems that there is no translation. Anybody has an idea where I can carry on finding de error because I don’t know where to find.
