    Hi,

This is my first forum post, unfortunately I’m running into serious problems with my blog. It was on a mexican server call Neubox, I’m switching now to Blue Host.

I did a backup of all my data and also of the database. I use the backup from DirectAdmin and just uploaded the public_html folder to the new server, then I created a database (actually the exact same name to avoid changing wp-config.php, assigned a database user same name too, and finally I populated the database)

And it is not working… you can try https://www.sajornet.com nothing loads, I tought it might be something related to super cache plugin, so I deleted de cache folder and also cleaned the .htaccess file.

I really don’t know what else should I do, I’m not very savy on this matters… =(

Any idea would be appreciated, (sorry for the bad english)

    Thanks

    Oscar

  • I see a blog there, but thats because Im seeing whats located at server20.neubox.net and not at bluehost.

Bluehost gives you error_logs; what do yours say?

That’s right I had to redirect the domain back to the old server, I did a little bit of research and it seems that wp-super cache should be uninstalled in order to migrate the wordpress installation. I’m currently switching back to bluehost… lets see what happens this time. Thanks for the reponse.

Problem solved! Beware of wp super cache when migrating to a new server, it gives a white screen of death… just delete the plugin!
