Problems moving Jetpack to staging

Hello,
My web developer recently created a staging environment from our production environment which
caused some problems (similar to this here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/jetpack-is-goingsafemode-on-prod-site-after-copying-site-to-staging/).
We managed to get the statistics back to the production server by moving the staging environment
back to production and then clicking on “Move your settings” as described here:
https://jetpack.com/support/safe-mode/.
For you internally to check, the production domain is https://handcraftedtimber.com, the staging
environment is https://hctimstage.wpengine.com.
Now, on the production environment, statistics and Image Accelerator are working fine. However,
I’m asked to “Connect your WordPress.com account to view more stats”. I plan to connect using my
account with the email address (I will put my email address here if needed). Could you check on your side please that
that won’t cause any problems and let me know if I can go ahead with this?
