Problems on Microsite pages

  • Our site uses The7 theme that supports Microsites, where a single page can be a “microsite” with its’ own menus/sidebars/footer/etc. The Microsite template allows you to set the Menu on the page itself.

    I can set up the MegaMenu for this page’s menu, which is different than the main menu, but the MegaMenu complains that “This menu is not in any location, please set a location first” and worse, the Search icon that is normally on the right does not appear at all. This causes the sub-menu layout to not be the correct propportions.

    Any idea why adding MegaMenu to a menu (appearance > menus) and then only adding that menu at the page level causes these problems? Everything works but the search icon.

    I am very sorry for the issue. I think it’s a conflict issue with your theme or other plugins. Do one thing disable other plugins and then check your website.
