Problems Porting Existing WordPress Installation To New Server

I -believe- I’m using 3.3.1 or a slightly older version of wordpress.

This is for my mother’s website, which I was charged with migrating to a more up-to-date server after my websites were attacked by Russian spammers.

I downloaded a copy of my mother’s home directory using cPanel X, did the same with her SQL, and restored it on my new server. However, when I updated the db info (Which to be honest was basically the same), https://yourtreasureddesigns.com shows an “unexpected T_STRING” error on the line with the SQL password.

Have I done something wrong or forgotten a step? ??
