Problems posting with code

I am having problems where code does not save my complete entry.
What happens is this:
1) Write something in html, copy and paste it to code, save it, and a big chunk of it disappears.
2) Same thing happens when writing code directly.
Small posts are saved as is, but longer posts see big chunks disappear…
Any suggestions, comments please?
