    Since I have updated the Booking Calendar plugin to version 8.0 I have the following problems:

    – No mails are being sent anymore after a booking, not to my client nor to the person that places the booking. Test mails are also not working.

    – I am using the Weglot plugin to translate the website to another language (original: dutch / via Weglot translated to French). In the original language the calendar is being shown, but since the Booking Calendar update the calendar is nog longer shown in French version, check: https://vakantieinmiddelkerke.be/fr/nu-reserveren/ . It shows the message ‘calendar is being loaded’ and there is code in one of the form fields. Before the update this was no problem

    Hello.

    1) Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.
    Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/
    The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is ‘sending emails via php’ option and it can resolve that issue.

    2) Relative issue with not showing of calendar, its seems like some conflict with some other plugin or actual theme. Especially, because of code that exist right now in text-area. Its have not to be so, of course. Its seems like some other plugin is override HTML code or etc…

    Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
    If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. We just need to find the reason of this issue.

    Also just to be sure, before update you was used the free version of Booking Calendar ?

    Hello,

    1) Thank you for the quick response. SMTP plugin is installed with ‘sending emails via php’ option checked but test emails are not arriving.

    2) I am pretty sure there is indeed a conflict with a plugin, namely the Weglot plugin. I need to keep this plugin on the site however.

    As I mentioned the above problems were not happening before the 8.0 booking calendar update. Could you tell me were I can download the 7.2 version? Maybe a downgrade can solve my problems.

    Indeed, before the update I was using the free version.

    Hello.
    1) Please try to make test booking and then check about the email. Check spam folder. Otherwise please recheck settings of smtp plugin, because currently all emails have to sent via this plugin.

    2) The new update 8.0 does not provide some functionality that have to generate this issue. But you can update to previous version to check it. You can download previous version of Booking Calendar Free version from here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/booking/advanced/
