Problems Updating Inherited Website

I recently was asked to update our company’s website. I’ve never used WordPress before. When I started, I did not even have access to the website login or know where to begin. I was able to figure out how to get into the WordPress Dashboard to update most of the pages using information found in other posts here on the forum.

I don’t know what version of WordPress I am using as all I can tell by the Dashboard is that I need to update to 3.5, but I have no idea how to do that either. That is for another topic though.

The website has a bar at the bottom of the page with office information that I cannot figure out how to change. This “footer” information does not show in the Dashboard anywhere that I can look. I’ve also found where all of the images are located in the themes folder, but none of those have the information on them either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
