    Hi,

    It looks like you are serving WebP images via Nginx on your site, but unfortunately that is not supported by Safari / iOS, so that could cause the issue, please contact your hosting provider and let them know about this issue.

    Wordpress, my hosting provider, replied saying – Please note that we can’t change the “Nginx” for serving the images here at WordPress.com due to security reasons, so the only way would be to adjust the plugin itself. So you should ask the plugin dev to adjust the code for you because we don’t provide support for third-party plugins or themes here.

    Hi,

    The images are not static images, you can see on this screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/wbuPlbJY they are loaded via Jetpack, so to resolve this issue, please disable Jetpack’s image related features.
