Problems when migrating

    Hello good day, this seems to me a great complement, but it failed me.

    What I tried to do is migrate a website from one server to another but with the same domain, so what I did was download a backup and then upload the backup to the new website but with the same domain.

    But the problem is that after loading the backup and restoring it nothing happened with my website, you can still browse the pages but it does not allow me to access the administrator using wp-admin.

    please i need help with this.

    Hi @ozni

    My apologies for delayed reply, somehow I didn’t get notification about your post.

    I checked your website, it seems that everything is working now.
    I was able to access wp-login and successfully get response with wrong password.

    Such issue is usually related to custom groups or https/http protocol issue.
    First issue can be solved via phpMyAdmin, second by modifying wp-config.php
