I use your WP-Plugin to handle the bounces mails with Mailpoet.

    Unfortunately I have some issues.

    1. only the action type “mark as bounce” works fine. Neither deleting the email address works nor “unsubscribe the user”. If I select theses actions nothing happens – the status of the user and the subscription stays the same.

    2. There are no logs, I could read to get further information about the problems under (1.)

I work with WP 4.8.3; Mailpoet 3.0.9; PHP 7 on a Centos system

Can you give me any advise to solve this?

  • Can you please reinstall “Bounce Handler MailPoet 3” plugin and test if it works?

    Thanks @tamimibrahim17,

To be honest. Very few changed.

    1. logs work now, thanks.

    2. I choose “Delete user” and this happened:

    1. Subject : Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
[email protected] Bounce reason : mailbox_not_available , Subscriber Add to list , Subscriber Current Status : Bounced , message deleted.

After checking the list of subscribers the user still exists but with status “bounced”

Hi @kptkip, A new version ( 1.3.0 ) of this plugin just released. Please update your version to current and after updating please visit plugin settings page and change all settings again as your needs than hit save change.

This is very important, last version of plugin didn’t able to removed unused settings properly. so please reset the plugin settings, this problem will be fixed, I hope.

Finally, please let us know if this works properly.

BTW, In this version, they’ve improved the log page. Now you can sort your log by id, email and bounced reason. Also you can search log table by email or bounced reason. Let us know if you like it.

    Aloa,

    thanks for this update 1.3.0!

    Now it works fine!

    One question:
Is the feature “Activate bounce and check every… XX Minutes” bound to the wp_cron.php execution or within another cron mechanism?

    Greetings
    Alex

Hi @kptkip, Glad to know it’s working. Schedule is bound to wp_cron.php execution only.
