    Hello there,

I’m working in local host because i’m in the process of building up a site for a non-profit organisation.

My problem starts, when I try to set up a campaign. The buttons in the admin panel seems to be diseabled. That means that a can`t, for example, add an image in the text area where you write the campaign’s information, nor set differents donations amounts. I neither see an option tu upload an image to be displayed in the campaing list. But I still can publich the campaing, and set the option “Allow Custom Donations”.

The problem seems to be with the menu of the text area and the “Add a Suggested Amount”.

I thought I could messed up something while I was translating the pluging into spanish, but I uninstalled the pulging and I installed it again, and I still have the same problem.

So I wanted to know if this issue has a solution and if is happening to someone else.

Sorry about my english. Hope I set my point clearly ;).

    Regards,
    Hugo

    Hi Hugo,

It sounds like there might be a theme or plugin conflict.

To troubleshoot this issue, first try changing the theme to one of the default themes to see if the problem goes away.

If the problem persists, try disabling all plugins, then re-enable them until the problem reappears.

    Cheers,
    Eric

    Hello again,

Thanks for your answer Eric. You were right. I’ve changed the theme and It’s solves the issue. My question now is, is there any option to make it works with my actual theme?. I have everything set up with Enigmatic https://themeforest.net/item/enigmatic-responsive-multipurpose-wp-theme/3919108

Shall I ask about the issue directly to the theme support, or is something I can solve myself?

    Thanks again!

    Hi Hugo,

It’s likely that the theme is doing something to affect the Javascript in the WordPress dashboard, so I would get in touch with them to find out if they can fix this issue on their end.

    Cheers,
    Eric

    Hi Hugo,

Did you hear back from the theme? Were they able to resolve this problem for you?

    Hi Eric again,

Sorry for the delay in the response but i’ve been with other tasks.

I wanted to inform you that with the latest update the problem have been solved. So cool, thanks.

Other thing I would like to ask you, is there any option to have the plugin translated into spanish automatically? I’ve been doing it by hand. Let me know if you need help with the translation.

    Cheers,
    Hugo

    Hi Hugo,

It would be awesome if you could help out with the Spanish translation! The translation project for Charitable is at https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/charitable, and you can suggest translations there. If you’re interested in joining as a translation editor, let me know which Spanish locale you would like to take on. We have someone else already working on the Spanish (Argentina) translation as an editor.

    Cheers,
    Eric

    Hi Eric,

Yes sure, it would be my pleasure to contribute with the Spanish from Spain translation. How do i begin?

    Hi Hugo,

I see you have already suggested a whole bunch of translations. Great work! I just put through the request to have you added as a Spanish translation editor for Charitable: https://make.www.ads-software.com/polyglots/2016/03/30/hello-polyglots-i-have-another-translation-editor-id-2/

Once you have been added as an editor, you can make translations directly without needing to suggest them first. You will also be able to approve other translators’ suggested translations. And you can also import translations from a .po file; for example, you could use a program like poedit (https://poedit.net/) to create translations and then import your translation.

    Cheers,
    Eric

    Hi @hugo_mv,

Could you send me a message via https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/? I’d like to ask you a question about the Spanish translation.

    Cheers,
    Eric
