Problems with avatar in subscriptions..

    As many other users I am mixing with Jetpack as to speed up my site without having a plugin for ever single function. As a whole it works good, and most of the troubles I have been able to solve by testing and reading on forums like this one. But there is one problem that just won’t get fixed:

    I have over a 100 subscribers on my blog, subscribed via Jetpack’s email subscription function. But when the email is being sent out, the avatar of me and other contributor on the site won’t show, but instead just the random white shape of an upper body against a grey background.

    Since I got many readers via email, it would be great to have our faces showing up as avatars, as to profile the handful of different contributors that write for my site.

    If it’s to any help, the same grey man shows up in the comment field on my site when I am about to comment on a post. It says “you are commenting as user Joe Olsson” followed by this grey man. But once comment is posted, my real portrait/avatar will be there.

    Hi!

    As explained by email, the issue was that you hav the WP User Avatar plugin installed, and you uploaded your avatar that way. Jetpack only uses the avatar found at https://gravatar.com for the commenting and the subscription emails that are sent out. If you want to have your picture included in those emails, you’ll need to upload a picture at Gravatar.
