• Hello – hoping someone can help me out with this problem.

I want to put a really engaging image on my site homepage. I’m using the storefront parallax hero plugin but having some problems with the dimensions of my chosen image. The original image is 2863 pixels wide by 2347 pixels high. I did some digging around online to see if I could find some recommended pixel dimensions for use with parallax hero and all i found was a blog post referencing 1800×800 pixels as the dimensions chosen by one individual that seemed to work ok. Here are the problems that I’m having: 1. I’d ideally like to preserve the aspect ration of the image I’m using. When I bring the width down to 1800 and then crop the height to 800 it’s cropping off way too much of the image and making it pretty meaningless. When I size the width down to 1800 keeping the aspect ratio the same results in an image height of 1476. I could probably get away with cropping this down to around 1400 if needs be. I’d like to figure out if there is a way to increase the height of the parallax background image frame to accommodate the full height of my image. I have set the parallax to full height and cover in the customiser. 2. The second problem I’m having is that even if I do crop the image to 800 height a chunk is still getting chopped off the bottom.

Finding a way to accommodate my image using storefront parallax hero would be my ideal outcome but I’m also open to suggestion if there is a better way to achieve what I’m trying to do. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
