I love TablePress and have used it for simple tables but now I’m working on a larger one. (I’ve got version 4.1 of WordPress and 1.5.1 of TablePress.) Ultimately we’ll be uploading an excel sheet (easy to import to TablePress, thanks!) with about 140 rows and 6 columns. I’ve been trying to change the width of columns on a table, (Pasting the suggested Custom CSS Commands into Plugin Options) but having read other posts, I think the reason I can’t do it is because of the amount on information in my table. It also seems that the theme I’m using decides its own default columns based on the text in the column. So I’ve moved on from that and now I’m just trying to get the horizontal scrolling to work and even though I check the box that says to enable horizontal scrolling, it doesn’t work. I cannot get the rest of the 5th column or any of the 6th column to appear on the web page. (They are in the table.) Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, the link that you posted is only showing a “Not found” error for me ??
Can you maybe check the link?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Hey, you’re quick! I had it as a private page, that may have been the problem. I changed it to a passworded page. The password is

    Hi,

ah, thanks, now I can see the table ??

Yes, making this table fit without the Horizontal Scrolling will not really be possible, mainly because the email addresses there already take up a lot of space, and your theme only has a small content area.
Using Horizontal Scrolling is a good idea therefore.

That feature is likely not working due to a conflict with the Ultimate Tables plugin that you have also activated. It’s registering similar functions as TablePress here and thus interferes. Can you maybe turn that off to check?

YES!! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! I went ahead and just deleted Ultimate Tables, I prefer TablePress. The page working just fine now. Once again, you’re the best!
