Problems with connecting crm.zoho.eu

Hello Gravity Forms Zoho CRM Add-on team,
we initiated a migration of our ZOHO CRM from US to EU. In this process, we needed to turn off the connection of this plugin to the US ZOHO CRM (crm.zoho.com). Up until this moment, everything was working fine.
Today, we want to connect to our new EU ZOHO CRM (crm.zoho.eu) by simply the authentication button in wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_settings&subview=gravityformszohocrm . The sign up mechanism worked without a problem. We selected the production ZOHO CRM instance and even got a success notification saying that “We connected successfully to the CRM”.
However, the button has not changed and still says that we need to authenticate. Also, new form entries are not send to ZOHO. It seems that the connection has not been established properly.
Do you have an idea how we can debug this? I am confused because the sign up flow works like charme, but it does not seem to establish / store the connection properly.
FYI: Our current plugin version is 1.8 .
