Problems with Contact Form 7

  • Hi,
    After installing AAM the option cor “Contact Form” in the sidebar disappear.

    When I click in “Setting” of “Contact Form” from the plugins list the following message appear:
    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    It took me 3 new wordpress installation to realize that after installing AAM this option disappear.
    Even if I just install and disable/remove the AAM plugin the contact form never comes back.

    The steps I follow are this:
    1- WordPress Installation.
    2- Jigoshop installation.
    3- Contact Form 7 installation.
    4- AAM installation.

    Another rare thing is that in the “Main Menu” section of AAM appears all of the items of the sidebar but “Contact Form” is missing there too.

    I try alot of solutions in this forum but nothing restore the Contact Form.

    The software I’m using:

    WordPress 3.4.2
    AAM 1.6.8.3
    Contact Form 3.3.3

  • I have a similar problem.

    Contact Form AND Comments disappeared from the Dashboard menu.

    And that’s only for the Super Admin.

    Although it would be easy to create a seperate “plain” Administrator account to have it back seems like a bug.

    Hi,
    But even if I remove the plugin the option disappear and I don’t know how to make it comes back, I reinstall the whole wordpress.
    I really don’t know what to do, because I don’t want to let my customer have access to all the system.

    sk8federico, if you create a new Administrator account can you see the contact menu? That works for me.

    Of course the problem is that the Super Admin ( the account that you install AAM with ) doesn’t have access to everything.
