Problems with CoursePress from WPMU

Hello,
I am using activelly groups plugin with woocommerce groups addition.
We also wanted to use coursepress from WPMU but according to this post:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/coursepress-problem-when-groups-plugin-is-activeplugins conflicting at each other. In that post I mentioned there is specifically pointed out line of code which causes problems.
“The problem is gone when I remove line 70 from groups\lib\access\class-groups-post-access.php:
add_filter( “the_content”, array( __CLASS__, “the_content” ), 1 );”Can it be fixed without loosing groups full workability ?
