• Hi, i’ve just upgraded the MySql db by Aruba from 5.6 to 5.7
Username/DB and password are the same but the ip host is changed. I’ve updated it into the wp-config.php but it looks like the theme is not recognized, there are a lot of errors beginning from the title that was a picture.
Aruba phone customer care (my host) doesn’t know hot to proceed so i’m waiting for their mail support. Kallyas/envato customer care is not answering me soon so i’ve three domains out!

I’hope that you can help me!

    Thank you

  • Hello @pql89

I’m looking at your site now and it looks like these errors have been resolved?

i’ve asked forna downgrade of the DB because Aruba support doesn’t know what happens. They’ve said first that everything was ok (homepage was empty but for them it was ok), then they said it’s theme not updated (updated in august), the last was that the problem has been the update of wordpress didn’t looking that it was done a week ago and everything worked fine!

So waiting for a solution i’ve done a downgrade to have working websites!

    Got it.

Usually, if you’re going to do something like a Database upgrade, it’s recommended to do it on a staging site (a copy of the main site) so that you can test to make sure nothing breaks, if If it does, you can troubleshoot.

I don’t know Aruba, do they offer you the option to create a staging environment to test the Database upgrade on?
