• Hi,

I tried to deactivate the wordfence plugin from the main plugin page and I can’t access the back-end of my WP web-site anymore. I get just a white page (in Firefox) in any attempt to access any pages of the back-end. The actual site still works fine and I can access all the pages. Any advice?

    Thank you

  • Wordfence is causing me a total nightmare too – I managed to log in on my phone and deactivate the firewall but it seems to be stopping me being able to do anything – I can’t add a contact form or update plugins or anything and I can’t deactivate it.

If you can access your site via FTP, go to the plugins folder and rename the wordfence folder to wordfence.old – this should automatically deactivate Wordfence and you should then be able to get back into your Admin dashboard.
