Problems with Divi

    Hello Matthias, I just realised, that with the Divi-Theme and your plugin active, I am not able to save changes made with the Divi-Builder (the page builder of Divi). When trying to save, the following message pops up:

    Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten, w?hrend Ihre Seite gespeichert wurde. Verschiedene Probleme k?nnen verursachen, dass eine Speicherung fehlschl?gt, etwa Ressourcenmangel auf dem Server, Blockierung durch Firewalls, Plugin-Konflikte oder Server-Fehlkonfiguration. Sie k?nnen versuchen, erneut zu speichern, indem Sie ?Nochmals versuchen“ anklicken, oder Sie k?nnen ein Backup Ihrer ungespeicherten Seite herunterladen, indem Sie ?Backup herunterladen“ anklicken. Backups k?nnen mittels des Portierbarkeits-Systems wiederhergestellt werden, w?hrend Sie das n?chste Mal Ihre Seite editieren.

    Es k?nnte helfen, sich an Ihren Host zu wenden und dort nach einer Erh?hung folgender PHP-Variablen zu fragen: memory_limit, max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, post_max_size, max_input_time, max_input_vars. Zus?tzlich k?nnte das Abh?ren des Fehler-Logs Ihrer Firewall (etwa ModSecurity) falsche Positiva aufdecken, die das Abschlie?en von Speicherungen verhindern.

    Zuletzt wird empfohlen, alle WordPress-Plugins und Browser-Erweiterungen zeitweise abzuschalten und zu versuchen, erneut zu speichern, um zu erkennen, ob etwas einen Konflikt verursacht.

    When I deactivate your plugin, the saving works as it should.

    Hi Christoph.

    For Divi, just add the following two lines to the option “Action-Whitelist” and everything should work pretty fine:

    et_pb_*
    et_fb_*

    These are the actions which are saved in the spam-inbox. Whenever you face such incompatibilities, you can look for the action and if it is available (they are just available for WP standard ajax-calls) just whitelist it. The Divi-Ajax-Actions all start with either et_pb_ or et_fb_. The ‘*’ works as a wildcard.

    With the next release these will be build-in already. In order to avoid incompatibilities I usually recommend to uncheck the option “Apply when logged in” (respectively “Anwenden wenn eingeloggt” in German), or instead and even better, to exclude the most important roles “Whitelist user roles”.

    Hello Matthias

    Thanks for the feedback. The unchecking of the “Anwenden wenn eingeloggt” and the whitelisting of the user roles didn’t help, but the hint with the Ajax-Actions worked, thank you.
