Problems with Easy Accordion

    Over a years ago I installed and used the free version of Easy Accordion.

    It worked with shortcodes in the accordion items.

    There was a recent update 4 weeks ago.

    Now all access to data via the interface has stopped working.

    The data is still in the data base and still displays on the website but I cannot access the existing data and cannot add new accordion items or edit them.

    It seems that the free version automatically updated itself which has caused the problem.

    I tried creating a new accordion with this updated free version and added the same shortcodes as the original shortcodes to the new accordion items but when I preview the page the shortcodes display as text rather than as the links they are supposed to.

    I have convinced my client it would be best to buy the Pro version but if shortcodes no longer work in the Accordion items there is no point.

    Your assistance and explanation would be appreciated

    Thank you for the question.

    Actually, we have brought a major update from version 2. It is totally different from the earlier version. We tried enough to keep the previous data.

    Sorry to say that you have to use the earlier version to edit the existing accordion items. Delete the new version from your Dashboard and install the previous version from the below link. No data/accordion will be lost.

    Copy all the accordions of the previous version and create them with the new version. It is so easy to create an accordion with the latest version. A lot of new features are available in version 2.
