Problems with easy digital download

Hmm, very odd behavior.

Is this just a case of having EDD installed? Is downloads a default menu item that Pippin’s plugin provides? If it’s easy to get that part of EDD going, then I’ll definitely see what’s up

The “Downloads” menu is default. Sounds like it might be a conflict with the menu position.

yes, it is just happening with EDD (afaik).
I have been working with EDD and another plugin for CPT for a long time and no problem.

I wanted to give your plugin a try and then EDD custom posts disappear from backend and they are also not accesible from frontend.

They stopped appearing in the admin sidebar, although the plugin is still active.

If I disable CPT UI then everything is working fine again.

Hmm, well I have both EDD and CPTUI installed, and some CPTs registered. Both ones that I already had from previous testing, as well as a new one. I couldn’t get the Downloads menu item to disappear at all.

What CPTs are you trying to register? Could you pastebin the output of your “Get Code” textareas, located in the manage screen?

BTW, I am also using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gd-taxonomies-tools/ that is the one I wanted to replace by yours and havent removed it yet.

But I have no problem with EDD and GD, it is just when installing CPTUI.

Do you have issues when you have just EDD and CPTUI active? If yes, I can try to recreate with the GD plugin installed as well at the same time, but I didn’t have any issues with EDD and CPTUI alone.

I’ve went ahead and installed GD and I’m still not able to reproduce what’s going on, so I’m not sure what it could be at this point.

I have been checking it and really dont know. I can post here all my emails but just happens with CPTUI.

Anyhow, what I have done is using your plugin for generating the code and then using it directly in a custom plugin and it is working fine.

I dont want you to waste more time with this issue since it seems to be an strange behaviour.

Hi, i would like to know how the payment gateway works in the easy digital download. I would like to sell an ebook in wordpress and i had test the plugin. In the settings, there required us to enter the paypal account. may i know that , is it my audience will paid to my paypal account? If do so, what kind of paypal account i need to apply ? Personal or business?
