Problems with excerpt on categories!

  • Hello!

    I’m using a <span> tag under the entry post but i have some problems displaying expert on categories/tags…

    My post looks like: 

    <div class="entry-content">
	<span class="my_class">eference site about Lorem Ipsum, giving information on its origins, as well as a random Lipsum generator.</span>
</div>

    <span class=”…..”> is added by function.php

    Is any way to display the content without removing my span tag?
