problems with extra white space warning….

    so I deactivated everything except the WP theme 2016 and still get the error message. the “help” page linked from the updraft plus plugin page has some vague suggestions (like deactivate everything)and to track down the problem. well not a code writer here. and it says to
    “try checking your wp-config.php file” It does not say WHAT to check for there! so what are we supposed to go there and check for exactly?

    feeling a bit sad that a week’s work is down the drain over this. I upload the backup to drop-box so If I ever need to restore that backup is my site going to be useless? I am on local host here.

    Could you clarify the issue that you are having? Could you send a copy of the error message that you are receiving?

    yes gladly will send you the error msg, things that happened before hand, steps tried to fix the prob as well that did not work.

    Could you post them here? You can change any sensitive information (such as the URL).

    If you temporarily deactivate your other plugins, does the warning go away?

    Did you find a solution to this? I’m having the same problem and it’s very frustrating.
