Problems with FB Feed
-
Hello, I am trying to create a product feed and it seems to be working but I keep getting an update indicating that there are errors with all of my products…
3,068 products rejected due to errors
When I look at the report, the report only lists a handful of products. I have tried it several times with different settings but continue to run into the same problems. What am I missing?Thank you!

Hi Barbara,
Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Bear in mind that Facebooks error reporting might be behind updating its notifications, it could take up to a day before they are updated.
What are the errors Facebook is reporting on? Can you also share your FB product feed URL so we can have a look at the feed?
Should I post the link here??
The error messages include the following but there are only a handful of products listed for each error.
A required field is missing:
availability
Required field is missing:
descriptionA required field is missing:
titleIDs can’t be duplicated:
idA required field is missing:
image_link
image_linkYes, please post the feed URL here.
The product feed URL is returning a 404 error page when opening in a browser?
Here is the correct link…
https://birdiesroom.com/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/dXS33bxdmoNMiZuoqJPu4rSRBIOPzlYZ.xmlI did manage to upload the catalogue and it seemed to work but after the FB review, all items were rejected because they were missing Availability, Condition and Brand. I added the fields to the plugin settings but the database is still not registering the data. What should I do now?
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes I checked your feed and it indeed misses the availability, condition and brand fields.
Those fields, by default show on the field mapping page like this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ycme3by6r87tme/missing-fb-mappings.png?dl=0You probably removed those field mappings so make sure you add them again exactly as shown in the screenshot above. Now you’ll see that the brand field mapping is still blank, that is because WooCommerce out-of-the-box doesn’t come with a brand attribute so you’ll have to map it to the brand attribute you created or use a static value for your brand when your product brands are the same for all your products (see: https://adtribes.io/how-to-use-static-values-and-create-fake-content-for-your-product-feed/)
Hope this helps?
Hi,
Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved or our support is no longer needed I am going to close this topic for housekeeping reasons now. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again whenever you need our help.
Hello,
I was hoping you could help with my feeds. They have not updated since February and I don’t know why. I tried to refresh the feed but it will not show a current date.

BarbaraHi Barbara,
The feed URL your provided me shows a 404 error page when opening it in a browser. The feed doesn’t exists at all anymore. Perhaps you deleted it?
Hello,
It is showing as the url for the feed under the settings in WP admin. I am not sure how it all works but will I need to create a new one?? The same thing is happening for my Google feed.
Also, how can I get my star ratings and extra images to appear on my Google feed? If I view the Birdie’s Room listings compared to the Little Zen One listings,I was hoping to have more images in each listing appear, and the star ratings would be nice.?

Normally feeds do not delete themselves, even disabling or removing a feed configuration would not lead to the feed itself being deleted so I guess something or someone removed the feed files from your server. So yes, unfortunately, that means you would need to create new feeds.

Google’s requirements with regards to getting “product ratings” with your products are pretty strict. You can find all requirements on Google’s help pages. Basically, the very first thing you need to do is get your account whitelisted/approved by Google by filling in their interest form. Of course you need to have product reviews on your website, after which you can create a product review feed by selecting the “Google Product Review Feed” channel (this one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7s4nduyhe5ow3ta/grf.png?dl=0) and upload it to your merchant center as secondary/supplemental feed.
You can add additional gallery images to your feed by adding additional field mappings for it on your field mapping page.
Hope this helps?
Hello,
Thank you for the information. I tried to create a new feed this evening and at the final step, I received a critical error message. I checked my email and did not receive a message and when I looked at the list of feeds, the new feed was showing there and looks like it is processing. It is staying at 0% for quite a long time and when I check the url, it pulls up a 404 page as well.
https://birdiesroom.com/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/CzLtzINSU8cqKylkAJOzpK97PnMLEAGd.xmlIs it possible that the 404 message is occuring because the feed has not processed yet?
Thank you!
BarbaraIs it possible that the 404 message is occuring because the feed has not processed yet?
—> Yes, that is very likely.
Can you share the content of the WooCommerce fatal error logs of today/yesterday so we can see what is causing the error?
Hello,
The processing seems to be stuck now at 11%.
This is what I found in the error log….
This is what I found…
