I’m having trouble with this schedule fixer on GMT-level. The server I run several wordpress sites on, has the proper time set but the scheduler itself running strictly at the UTC-time. This means that gmdate always shows (from Sweden) the time two hours wrong. When using this plugin, the SQL-query is set to the wrong time which means it won’t retrigger any posts to be published.

I’ve forked your plugin to test things, and by changing the gmdate() to just use the date()-function, it works again, since the time zone setup is correct compared to the UTC-clock that seems to be unchangable.

Also, I have huge problems with publishing both menu items and template customization. This is fixed by adding nav_menu_item and customize_changeset to the plugin.

Is this something that could be taken into consideration?
