• Hi!
I have followed the instructions on MoshuBlog and it works just like I want it to, with two exceptions. First, I’m wondering how to alter the code to show posts from only one specified category, and how to show only the latest post.

Second, it does not stay in the div tag! I have a sidebar to the right, and first it overlapped the sidebar, even though the div tag was cut. I managed to contain it by adding the storycontent div to the css and assigning a width, but now it expands in height! Storycontent does not help here, since it only applies to each post separately. So solving how to show only the latest post really solves everything!

Anyone got a clue how to do this?

Hmm… I kind of solved it on my own. I looked in the options menu in WP, and under Read, I changed the number of posts shown per page to 1 instead of 10. It works like I wan’t it to on the main page, sort of. But the problem now is that I would like to show more than one post on the blog itself! (The grass is always greener on the other side! XD) Also, it poses some issues with having differing lengths on the posts shown on the main site, since it either causes empty space below, or overlaps the border again. Maybe changing the height to auto? I’ll try!

Well, that pretty much solved it. I chose to show 2 posts at once, and now it all cuts off where it should. Very long posts could be shortened with the “read more” tag I guess.

Okay, so never mind then. Shoulda looked closer before I asked. XD
