• We have a couple of issues with the latest version of the plugin

    1. Business hours aren’t saved and working
    2. When using the 3CX Chat Server, our agents are shown as “Agent Agent” and “Support” from the customer side — how can we show our agent’s name and/or gravatar?

    1. Business hours aren’t saved and working

    Try changing the opening hours and one more setting, then press save. Let us know if during this feed the plugin saves the other setting you changed.

    2. When using the 3CX Chat Server, our agents are shown as “Agent Agent” and “Support” from the customer side — how can we show our agent’s name and/or gravatar?

    The “Agent Agent” issue seems to be referring to the Join message where the chat sends the message “Agent [WordPress Username] has joined the chat.”.

    Gravatar works when the agent’s email is registered in Gravatar.

    Finally, be sure to check the “Use Logged In User Details” setting in the Chat Box section to enable all of the above features as described.

    Where are the opening hours? I did try setting the business hours, then making another settings change, then saved. same result — business hours are not saved, nor displayed.

    Here’s some other oddities:

    3. We no longer have an option to transfer or have another agent join the chat
    4. we cannot send a link on our site to the customer chatting with us
    5. in the chat history, all agents are labeled as “Admin” instead of their display name

    Side question: Can we change the default avatar when gravatar isn’t available?

    I’m sorry for the confusion, I was meant business hours. What I want to check is if the rest of the settings are being saved when changed in combination with business hours.

    About the other issues I’m answering you below.

    This functionality is no longer available after Version 9.0.0.

    There is no specific functionality to send a link to internal or external web page , you can copy and paste the required link and it will appear as hyperlink to your visitor.

    What I want to check is if the rest of the settings are being saved when changed in combination with business hours.

    I tried this yesterday — set business hours, then went to another settings page, made changes, then hit save. The other settings I changed, stayed; the business hours did not.

    This functionality is no longer available after Version 9.0.0.

    Will this feature come back or possibly be available in a paid version? This was really appealing to us and why we chose your plugin. I’d be happy to pay for a version that had this.

    In a previous version, while an agent was engaged in a chat with a website visitor, they had an option to send a link to the a page on the website. The chat inferace for the agent had a drop down feature or something that showed all pages on the site. Just a convenience thing, and would be willing to pay for this feature. The “Direct User to Page” option seen here.

    These are definitely issues that we will fix in the next few plugin’s updates.
