    Hi Andrea;

    I’m having problems between your plugin and Litespeed Cache. The issue is when I use the command ?bps_form=clear without Litespeed cache enabled all is working fine, but when I simply activate the plugin (even with the caches and page optimizations disabled), the command ?bps_form=clear doesn’t work anymore.

    It seems like a cache problem because when I clear all the caches the command works fine for the first time, but then no. I tried to exclude the url, the command,… and nothing worked.

    Can you please help me?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi Alex,

    I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my test site, but probably I can’t properly activate LiteSpeed Cache on localhost.

    The (member directory)?bps_form=clear URI tells BP Profile Search to clear the search cookies and then re-display the directory. Of course if that URI is cached the cookies are not cleared and the previously active search is repeated.

    The solution should be to exclude the above URI from caching. I’m not sure how to do it with LiteSpeed, probably the LiteSpeed team could offer some advice.

    Hi Andrea;

    Thank you for your answer. I altready tried to exclude the (member directory)?bps_form=clear URI and it didn’t work…

    I also tried to exclude these cookies:

    bp-members-scope
    bps_directory
    bps_request

    And it worked neither… If you think any other option that could work it will be appreciated.

    I already contacted Litespeed support to ask for help. If they found the solution I’ll share it here.

    Thank you.

    Hi Alex,

    I think you should only exclude from caching the (member directory)?bps_form=clear URI.

    Do you have a way to confirm that the URI is not cached when you exclude it, or are you receiving a cached copy anyway? There should be an HTML comment line by LiteSpeed at the end of the page.

    Hi Andrea;

    We already found the problem. It was a line on the .htaccess file that was blocking the access to the Guest Mode php archive of the Litespeed plugin.

    After solving that, it works fine with the cache exclusion of the URLs of the members directory and the /(members directory)/?bps_form=clear

    Thank you so much for your help!
