    Hi,

I am having some trouble with the Main Menu area of the Kale theme.

    1. I turned off the search area using the Kale Menu settings, and it went away for a while, but now it is back even though “Search Icon in Main Nav” is turned off.

    2. I don’t know what the Toggle Navigation is, but I find that label distracting and I can’t figure out how to get rid of it. All it seems to do is minimize or maximize that space. Is this a section where you should be able to hide the Main Menu until you need it? Because the Home button is floating in the middle of my text block when that is minimized. I tried to put a menu in the left header, but then I can’t get rid of the Main Menu altogether. I don’t really mind if the menu is there, but it is just not aligning correctly and the toggle is too distracting.

    Thanks.

I ended up going around it with a plugin for menus. This topic can be closed. Thanks!

Although I really would like to know how to get rid of that “Toggle Navigation” label.

    Thanks.

    Hello, featherhead.

Thank you for contacting us and for trying our theme. We appreciate it.

If you visit our demo page for Kale – https://demo.lyrathemes.com/kale/ you’ll see that there’s no “toggle navigation” thingy there.
Since it exists on your menu, something caused it to appear. May I ask you whether you edited any theme’s file using the built-in editor?
That issue could have as well been caused by some plugin so if you haven’t done any changes in the editor you can temporarily disable all plugins and see what happens.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask.

    Kind regards.
